This biennial conference brought together research teams interested in the degradation of tryptophan, along the kynurenine and serotonin pathways, in Jena. Generally linked to immunology, the disciplines represented at ISTRY 2024 included oncology, virology, psychiatry, nutrition, aging, and neurodegeneration.
